THE RED HEIFER
Does the Lamb of YaHuWaH take away the sins of the world?
Before you begin to reason with your ‘church’ mindset, let us look into WHY THE PASSOVER LAMB WAS ONLY FOR REDEMPTION!
The Passover Lamb is not a salvation issue.
Passover is the redemption of the first born.
You cannot put on a white robe without the red heifer sacrifice.
We are talking about sanctification and not salvation.
The children would sanctify the Kohen
The priestly pregnant women would give birth to their children in the temple courts and leave them there until they were 8 years old to train them for the ritual of the water of purification.
The young children were sent to the pool of Siloam to gather the water for the ashes of the Red Heifer. The water of the pool was called The Waters of Yahusha.
The floor of the Temple was hollow between the floor and the ground beneath. There was a space of a hand as a precaution to not become unclean. According to the Pharisees they could become unclean through the floor is someone was buried underneath the floor.
The mystery of the ashes of sanctification was not easy to explain. Even King Solomon could not understand the ritual.

- Touching a dead animal
- Touching or sitting on something unclean
These for the most part were the common ways to be considered unclean.
Until Numbers 19! – which is a shadow of the work of Messiah and how He would bring sanctification for Yisra’El, therefore fulfilling every biblical requirement of the sacrifice.
“And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying, “This is a law of the Torah which יהוה has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, that they bring you a red heifer, a perfect one, in which there is no blemish and on which a yoke has never come. And you shall give it to Eli‛ezer the priest, and he shall bring it outside the camp, and shall slay it before him. And Eli‛ezer the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood seven times toward the front of the Tent of Appointment. And the heifer shall be burned before his eyes – he burns its hide, and its flesh, and its blood, and its dung. And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet, and throw them into the midst of the fire burning the heifer. The priest shall then wash his garments, and shall bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest is unclean until evening. And he who is burning it washes his garments in water, and shall bathe his body in water, and is unclean until evening. And a clean man shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and shall place them outside the camp in a clean place. And they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl for the water for uncleanness, it is for cleansing from sin. And he who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his garments, and is unclean until evening. And it shall be a law forever to the children of Yisra’ĕl and to the stranger who sojourns in their midst.” Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 19:1-10
We have noticed that in the Red Heifer sacrifice there was an altar for the offering to be accepted.
Yahusha said, Matthew 23:18,19, “And, Whoever swears by the slaughter-place, it does not matter, but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, is bound by oath. Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the slaughter-place that sets the gift apart?
Christianity teaches that Messiah died to the North of the City.
All the walls that were there on the Temple mount were high, with the exception of the Eastern Wall, so that the Priest who burned the Red Heifer stood on top of the Mount of Olives and was able to see directly into the Entrance of the Sanctuary when the blood was tossed.
Yahusha was a sacrifice and according to the Torah the altar sanctifies the offering.
The question – WHERE IS THE ALTAR WHERE YAHUSHA DIED?
What people saw when Yahusha died:-
- The veil torn
- There was a garden
- Tomb was there also
And it was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land, until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two. And crying out with a loud voice, יהושע said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last. And the captain, seeing what took place, praised Elohim, saying, “Truly, this Man was righteous!” And when all the crowds who had gathered to that sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. Luqas (Luke) 23:44-48
And יהושע cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit. And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split, and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many. And when the captain and those with him, who were guarding יהושע, saw the earthquake and all that took place, they feared exceedingly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of Elohim!” Mattithyahu (Matthew) 27:50-54
And יהושע cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. And the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the captain, who was standing opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of Elohim!” Marqos (Mark) 15:37-39
What was the process of anointment for the Kohen haGadol?
During the first and second Temple period:-
- The High Priest was anointed on The Mount of Olives
- Another name for that mountain was The Mount of Anointment
- The way to anoint the Priest was with the Sign of the Tav (t)
- The ashes of the Red Heifer were kept in three places in Yisra’El. The Mount of Olives, The Temple Courts in a special room made of stone and the rest was sent all through the Land of Yisra’El in the Leviticus cities
- This gives us a hint as to why Yahusha died on a stake, the sign of the ‘t’ in Paleo Hebrew
This sacrifice was also the mark of salvation and the inheritance of Yisra’El given to Abraham.
After these events the word of יהוה came to Aḇram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Aḇram. I am your shield, your reward is exceedingly great.” And Aḇram said, “Master יהוה, what would You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eli‛ezer of Dammeseq?” And Aḇram said, “See, You have given me no seed, and see, one born in my house is my heir!” And see, the word of יהוה came to him, saying, “This one is not your heir, but he who comes from your own body is your heir.” And He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward the heavens, and count the stars if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So are your seed.” And he believed in יהוה, and He reckoned it to him for righteousness. And He said to him, “I am יהוה, who brought you out of Ur-kasdim, to give you this land to inherit it.” And he said, “Master יהוה, whereby do I know that I possess it?” And He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, and a three-year-old female goat, and a three-year-old ram, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” And he took all these to Him and cut them in the middle, and placed each half opposite the other, but he did not cut the birds. And the birds of prey came down on the carcasses, and Aḇram drove them away. And it came to be, when the sun was going down, and a deep sleep fell upon Aḇram, that see, a frightening great darkness fell upon him. And He said to Aḇram, “Know for certain that your seed are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years. “But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions. “Now as for you, you are to go to your fathers in peace, you are to be buried at a good old age. “Then, in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the crookedness of the Amorites is not yet complete.” And it came to be, when the sun went down and it was dark, that see, a smoking oven and a burning torch passing between those pieces. On the same day יהוה made a covenant with Aḇram, saying, “I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great river, the River Euphrates, with the Qĕynite, and the Qenizzite, and the Qaḏmonite, and the Ḥittite, and the Perizzite, and the Repha’im, and the Amorite, and the Kena‛anite, and the Girgashite, and the Yeḇusite.” Berĕshith (Genesis) 15:1-21
Genesis 15 explains prophetically why Yahusha needed to die – to restore Yisra’El back to the Covenant!

This chapter is showing us the plan of salvation and unconditional love of our Creator outlining His plan for restoration.
The sacrificed of an unyoked heifer also involves guilt and judgment.
“When anyone is found slain, lying in the field in the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess, and it is not known who struck him, then your elders and your judges shall go out, and they shall measure the distance from the slain man to the cities round about. “And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke, and the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a wadi with flowing water, which is neither ploughed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the wadi. “And the priests, the sons of Lĕwi, shall come near, for יהוה your Elohim has chosen them to serve Him and to bless in the Name of יהוה, and by their mouth every strife and every stroke is tried . “And let all the elders of that city nearest to the slain man wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the wadi. “And they shall answer and say, ‘Our hands have not shed this blood, nor have our eyes seen it. O יהוה, forgive Your people Yisra’ĕl, whom You have ransomed, and do not allow innocent blood in the midst of Your people Yisra’ĕl.’ And the blood-guilt shall be pardoned to them. “Thus you purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst when you do what is right in the eyes of יהוה. Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 21:1-9
In this way also, the guilt of innocent blood was purged from Yisra’El. The unyoked requirement signifies freedom from slavery to another religious system.
And when Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but rather an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this Righteous One. You shall see to it.” Mattithyahu (Matthew) 27:24

I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him. “For I was afraid of the displeasure and rage with which יהוה was wroth with you, to destroy you. But יהוה listened to me that time once more. “And יהוה was very enraged with Aharon, to destroy him, so I prayed for Aharon at that time also. “And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the stream that came down from the mountain. Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 9:16-21
In the book of John we see a hint about the wedding (Canaan)
And there were six stone water-jugs standing there, according to the mode of cleansing of the Yehuḏim, each holding two or three measures. Yoḥanan (John) 2:6
- Six – 6000 / time of humanity before the coming of Messiah
- Water – Ruach haKodesh
- Stone – Rock (Yahusha is the Rock)
Many things were done outside the camp according to the sacrificial system in Torah.
The Place of Offerings
And the son of an Yisra’ĕli woman, whose father was a Mitsrian man, went out among the children of Yisra’ĕl. And the Yisra’ĕli woman’s son and a man of Yisra’ĕl strove in the camp. And the Yisra’ĕli woman’s son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. So they brought him to Mosheh. Now his mother’s name was Shelomith the daughter of Diḇri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him under guard, that it might be declared to them at the mouth of יהוה. And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, “Bring the one who has cursed outside the camp, and all those who heard him shall lay their hands on his head, and all the congregation shall stone him. “And speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘Anyone who curses his Elohim shall bear his sin. ‘And he who blasphemes the Name of יהוה shall certainly be put to death, and all the congregation certainly stone him, the stranger as well as the native. When he blasphemes the Name, he is put to death. Wayyiqra 24:10-16

Yom haKippurim (bull and goat)
And he spoke to the congregation, saying, “Please turn away from the tents of these wrong men! Do not touch whatever belongs to them, lest you be consumed in all their sins.” Then they moved away from around the tents of Qoraḥ, Dathan, and Aḇiram. And Dathan and Aḇiram came out and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, and their sons, and their little children. Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 16:26-27
The Ordination Offering
“And you shall bring near the bull before the Tent of Appointment, and Aharon and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull. And you shall slay the bull before יהוה, by the door of the Tent of Appointment,” and take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the slaughter-place with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the slaughter-place. “And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the appendage on the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the slaughter-place. “But the flesh of the bull, and its skin and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering. Shemoth (Exodus) 29:10-14
Mount of Olives the Place of Worship
And Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar took the ark of Elohim back to Yerushalayim, and they remained there. And Dawiḏ went up by the ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went up. And he had his head covered and went barefoot. And all the people who were with him covered their heads and went up, weeping as they went up. And Dawiḏ was informed, saying, “Aḥithophel is among the conspirators with Aḇshalom.” And Dawiḏ said, “O יהוה, I pray You, make the counsel of Aḥithophel foolish!” And it came to be that Dawiḏ came to the summit, where he bowed himself before Elohim, and saw Ḥushai the Arkite, coming to meet him with his robe torn and dust on his head. Unintentional Sin by the Anointed Priest
‘If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then he shall bring to יהוה for his sin which he has sinned a young bull, a perfect one, as a sin offering, and he shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Appointment before יהוה, and shall lay his hand on the bull’s head, and slay the bull before יהוה. ‘And the anointed priest shall take some of the bull’s blood and bring it to the Tent of Appointment, and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before יהוה, in front of the veil of the set-apart place. ‘And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the slaughter-place of sweet incense before יהוה, which is in the Tent of Appointment, and pour all the blood of the bull at the base of the slaughter-place of the ascending offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Appointment. ‘Then he takes all the fat of the bull as the sin offering, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat which is on the entrails, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver, which he removes with the kidneys, “as it was taken from the bull of the slaughtering of peace offerings . And the priest shall burn them on the slaughter-place of the ascending offering. ‘But the skin of the bull, and all its flesh, with its head and legs, its entrails and dung – all of the bull – he shall bring outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out it is burned. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 4:3-12
Unintentional Sin for the whole community of Yisra’El
‘And if the entire congregation of Yisra’ĕl strays by mistake, and the matter has been hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done against any of the commands of יהוה, which are not to be done, and shall be guilty, when the sin which they have sinned becomes known, then the assembly shall bring a young bull for the sin, and bring it before the Tent of Appointment. ‘And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before יהוה, and the bull shall be slain before יהוה. ‘And the anointed priest shall bring some of the bull’s blood to the Tent of Appointment, and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before יהוה, in front of the veil, and put some of the blood on the horns of the slaughter-place which is before יהוה, which is in the Tent of Appointment, and pour all the blood at the base of the slaughter-place of ascending offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Appointment. ‘Then he takes all the fat from it and shall burn it on the slaughter-place. ‘And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull as a sin offering – so shall he do it. And the priest shall make atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. ‘And he shall bring the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is a sin offering for the assembly. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 4:13-21
The ashes of all burnt offerings
And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, “Command Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is the Torah of the ascending offering: This is the ascending offering, because it is burned on the slaughter-place all night until morning, and the fire of the slaughter-place is kept burning on it. ‘And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and put his linen trousers on his body, and shall take up the ashes of the ascending offering which the fire has consumed on the slaughter-place, and shall put them beside the slaughter-place. ‘And he shall take off his garments, and put on other garments, and shall bring the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 6:8-11
Ordination Sin Offering
And Mosheh brought the sons of Aharon and put long shirts on them, and girded them with girdles, and put turbans on them, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. And he brought the bull for the sin offering, and Aharon and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering, and it was slain. And Mosheh took the blood, and put some on the horns of the slaughter-place all around with his finger, and cleansed the slaughter-place. And he poured the blood at the base of the slaughter-place, and set it apart, to make atonement for it. And he took all the fat that was on the entrails, and the appendage on the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Mosheh burned them on the slaughter-place. And the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 8:13-17
Sin Offering for the People
And Mosheh said to Aharon, “Go to the slaughter-place, and prepare your sin offering and your ascending offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. And make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as יהוה has commanded.” So Aharon came near to the slaughter-place and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. And the sons of Aharon brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the slaughter-place, and poured the blood at the base of the slaughter-place. And the fat, and the kidneys, and the appendage on the liver of the sin offering he burned on the slaughter-place, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 9:7-11
Lepers typology of SIN taken outside the camp
“And when a man loses the hair of his head, he is bald, he is clean. “And if the hair has fallen from his forehead, he is bald on the forehead, he is clean. “And when there is on the bald head or bald forehead a reddish-white infection, it is leprosy breaking out on his bald head or his bald forehead. And the priest shall look at it and see, if the swelling of the infection is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy on the skin of the body,” he is a leprous man, he is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, without fail, his infection is on his head. “As for the leper who has the infection, his garments are torn, and his head is uncovered, and he has to cover his upper lip and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ “He is unclean – all the days he has the infection he is unclean. He is unclean, and he dwells alone, his dwelling place is outside the camp. Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 13:40-46
And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, “Command the children of Yisra’ĕl to send out of the camp every leper, and everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled for a being. “Send out both male and female, send them outside the camp, so that they do not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.” And the children of Yisra’ĕl did so, to send them outside the camp. As יהוה had spoken to Mosheh, so the children of Yisra’ĕl did. Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 5:1-4

In biblical history meaningful events have happened east of the Mount of Olives
- Adam was expelled eastward out of the garden
and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Berĕshith (Genesis) 3:24
So Qayin went out from the presence of יהוה and dwelt in the land of Noḏ on the east of Ěḏen. Berĕshith (Genesis) 4:16
- Abram pitched his tents here
And from there he moved to the mountain east of Bĕyth Ěl, and he pitched his tent, with Bĕyth Ěl on the west and Ai on the east. And he built there a slaughter-place to יהוה, and called on the Name of יהוה. Berĕshith (Genesis) 12:8
- Lot travelled east toward Sodom
So Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Yardĕn, and Lot moved east. Thus they separated from each other. Berĕshith (Genesis) 13:11

“And when you blow a shout, the camps that lie on the east side shall depart.” Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 10:5
- Judah camped east of the Tabernacle
“And on the east side, towards sunrise: those of the banner of the camp of Yehuḏah camp according to their divisions. And the leader of the children of Yehuḏah: Naḥshon, son of Amminaḏaḇ.” Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 2:3
- Moses and Aaron camped east of the Tabernacle
“And those who were to camp before the Dwelling Place on the east, before the Tent of Appointment, were Mosheh and Aharon, and his sons, guarding the duty of the set-apart place, and the duty of the children of Yisra’ĕl. But the stranger who came near was to be put to death.” Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 3:38
- The ten tribes of Yisra’El taken eastward as captives
“In the ninth year of Hoshĕa, the sovereign of Ashshur captured Shomeron and exiled Yisra’ĕl to Ashshur, and settled them in Ḥalaḥ and Ḥaḇor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.” Melaḵim Bĕt (2 Kings) 17:6
- Two tribes were taken eastward into captivity
“And the sovereign of Baḇel struck them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Ḥamath. So he exiled Yehuḏah from its own land. Melaḵim Bĕt (2 Kings) 25:21
- Mount of Olives was a place where people worshipped YaHuWaH

- The Shekinah of YaHuWaH withdrew eastward
“And the esteem of יהוה went from the threshold of the House and stood over the keruḇim. And the keruḇim lifted their wings and rose from the earth before my eyes. When they went out, the wheels were beside them. And it stood at the door of the east gate of the House of יהוה, and the esteem of the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl was above them.” Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) 10:18-19
“And the keruḇim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the esteem of the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl was high above them. And the esteem of יהוה went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain, which is on the east side of the city.” Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) 11:22-23

“See, a day shall come for יהוה, and your spoil shall be divided in your midst. And I shall gather all the nations to battle against Yerushalayim. And the city shall be taken, the houses plundered, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into exile, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. And יהוה shall go forth, and He shall fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which faces Yerushalayim on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, a very great valley, and half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. And you shall flee to the valley of My mountain – for the valley of the mountains reaches to Atsal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziyah sovereign of Yehuḏah. And יהוה my Elohim shall come – all the set-apart ones with You.” Zeḵaryah (Zechariah) 14:1-5

Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) tells us about the prophecy of Sanctification at the coming of Messiah.
“And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you. “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,” Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) 36:25-26
BIBLICAL EVIDENCE TO PROVE WHERE YAHUSHA DIED
“We have a slaughter-place from which those serving the Tent have no authority to eat. For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the Set-apart Place by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. And so יהושע also suffered outside the gate, to set apart the people with His own blood. Let us, then, go to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.” Iḇ`rim (Hebrews) 13:10-13
